Join itm8 Denmark’s cyber security team to help harden and defend enterprise customers’ Microsoft environments. You will play a key role in strengthening identity platforms and reducing cyber threats while working closely with a dynamic team of experts.
What you’ll do
- Provide high‑quality consultancy and support to some of the largest companies in Denmark, independently leading projects in network and system hardening and Active Directory tiering.
- Harden Microsoft on‑premises Active Directory, Windows workstations and servers using CIS and Microsoft baselines.
- Design and implement defensive security measures such as tiered identity structures and least‑privilege models across enterprise environments.
- Advise customers on security initiatives, including IAM practices and the principle of least privilege within a Windows enterprise hierarchy.
- Automate processes and deploy security tools using PowerShell, and contribute to assumed breach scenarios and testing of systems and devices.
- Collaborate with red team and blue team colleagues to protect critical infrastructure and develop a more secure and robust identity platform.
What you bring
- Full working proficiency in English; Danish proficiency is a plus.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Microsoft Active Directory tiering and Windows hardening baselines such as CIS and Microsoft.
- Familiarity with least‑privilege principles, IAM and hybrid identity models involving on‑premises and Entra ID/Azure.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills and knowledge of Microsoft architecture and infrastructure.
- Preferably 5+ years of experience in a similar security consulting role and knowledge of endpoint device management and project management.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE or modern role‑based credentials) and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
