Weibel is a world leader in Doppler radar technology and is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to shape and strengthen our security landscape. This newly established position sits in the Systems Engineering team and will collaborate with R&D, customers and other stakeholders to protect cutting‑edge radar products and support continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and align cyber security requirements across projects with product roadmaps and strategic direction.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to identify cyber risks and ensure effective mitigation and risk acceptance.
• Help improve information classification and cyber security processes, and mature testing and verification procedures.
• Support product accreditation processes and contribute to accreditation strategies.
• Act as a cyber security ambassador across the organisation, promoting secure systems and information handling.
• Participate in development of system engineering processes and influence future technology base.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in a cyber security role, with a background in IT or engineering.
• Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 2700x, IEC 62443 and NIST; knowledge of process maturity models like CMMI.
• Experience working in classified environments and developing complex systems for industrial or defence domains.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively, with a structured approach and calm, positive attitude under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to foster cyber awareness across the organisation.
• Fluent in English.
