As IT Security Compliance Manager at Bavarian Nordic, you will lead efforts to strengthen and maintain our security compliance framework, ensuring alignment with standards and regulations while partnering across the organisation to mature our security posture.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain the security compliance framework and policies, aligning with NIS2 and industry best practices
- Maintain and manage documentation of security compliance policies, procedures and controls
- Collaborate with information security, IT, quality and business stakeholders to address compliance gaps and define remediation plans
- Manage identification and protection of critical IT systems through business impact analysis (BIA) and risk assessments
- Facilitate security reviews, audits and vendor assessments, and serve as liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws, standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 and NIST and drive continuous improvement
Your profile
- At least four years of professional experience in an information security and compliance function, ideally within Life Science, MedTech or Pharma
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA or CISM
- Working knowledge of security standards and frameworks including ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2 and NIST
- Experience developing and implementing compliance strategies and risk management processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English; Danish proficiency is an advantage
