Your new role
As a significant player in the field of renewable energy, our need for robust identity and access management is constantly evolving. Ensuring secure and efficient access to our systems is more crucial than ever. As our new Security Engineer, you will join our IT Operations & Security team, which, along with the rest of the company, is on a growth and maturity journey. You will work closely with Information Security and the Security Operations team to implement and manage IAM/PAM solutions.
The team currently consists of 10 people who are responsible for the overall architecture of the network, servers, storage and application landscape, supported by an IT Support and Service desk of 6 people.
Areas of responsibility
You will be responsible for the full scope of on-boarding and maintaining applications and platforms to our PAM solution, which includes building custom connection components and password managers for IT & OT environments. You will also play a crucial part of expanding and operating our future IAM solution.
On a Typical Day You Might
- Collaborate with stakeholders across our organisation, as well as external consultants
- Manage user identities and access privileges across various systems and applications
- Develop and enforce IAM policies and procedures to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
- Review and update access control policies
- Monitor IAM systems for suspicious activities and potential security breaches
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal and external security requirements
- Integrate IAM solutions with existing IT infrastructure and applications
- Develop and maintain custom connectors and scripts for seamless integration

In addition, we are looking for
- At least 3+ (preferably 5+) years of experience working with IAM & PAM solutions
- Relevant IAM/PAM certifications (CIAM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar
- Knowledge of and experience with some of the main IAM/PAM tools and platforms
- Knowledge of identity security best practices, for both on-premises and cloud environments
- Knowledge of fundamental security approaches and principles (such as SoD, Least Privilege, Zero Trust)
- Experience with event based integrations between EntraID & AD and other platforms and systems
- General Azure knowledge incl. Serverless / Azure functions
- Understanding of IT processes and system development life cycle
- Familiarity with cyber security controls and frameworks (such as CIS18 and ISO 2700x)
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, and perhaps Danish
It will be an advantage if you have experience with Group policies, conditional access & MFA configuration knowledge
