As a GRC Senior Business Partner at Maersk you will lead the development and implementation of governance, risk and compliance frameworks across the Fulfilled by Maersk organisation. Your responsibilities include:
• Provide strategic leadership in risk management, ensuring identification and mitigation of operational, regulatory and strategic risks.
• Develop and maintain a robust control environment, working closely with cross‑functional teams to embed risk awareness and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Oversee compliance and audit programmes, drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives, and provide oversight to ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Coordinate enterprise risk reporting and performance monitoring to senior leadership, and provide insight that supports informed decision‑making.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to embed risk and control frameworks into digital transformation and other strategic initiatives.
• Champion a strong risk culture and act as first line of defence, advising senior management and fostering collaboration across functions.
• Lead and mentor team members, manage risk education programmes, and ensure robust training and development for colleagues.
We are looking for a professional with significant experience in GRC, risk management or audit, excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, and a proven ability to influence and drive change across organisations. Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts to non‑experts are essential.
