Infrastructure Operations Specialist for Novonesis
IT in Novonesis is a truly global organization with more than 200 specialists across the world, all working with the same goal to meet the requirements of the business ambitions. You will be part of the local infrastructure team in Hørsholm, Denmark, consisting of highly skilled and engaged colleagues across all disciplines for IT infrastructure. We cover all aspects of the infrastructure including servers, network, and cloud, and we value working together across functional and regional boundaries to share knowledge, deliver on time and contribute to the growth of the company and the team.
The team is responsible for the operation and improvement of the IT infrastructure on more than 100 sites around the world, including factories operating 24/7. You will be involved in many projects for the continued renewal of our global infrastructure, expansion into new areas and disciplines, and will be able to make a true impact helping create and operate solid, scalable, and maintainable infrastructure solutions meeting our future goals.
We Are Looking For Candidates With a Broad Knowledge Of Modern Technologies And Platforms, With Particular Focus On One Or More Of Following Areas
- VMware platform (including vSAN, NSX and Horizon)
- Microsoft Windows Server and/or Microsoft SQL Operations
- Monitoring tools like Solarwinds Orion and the VMware Aria Suite
- Powershell, automation tools and skills
- Veeam Backup Operations
- Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
Your primary tasks will be
- Be a key player in daily operations, supporting the business and production plants
- Participate in projects on a global scale
- Maintain and operate our global server and service infrastructure
- Create and maintain documentation
Your personal profile
- You hold certifications from either VMware, Microsoft, Azure, or Veeam or have equivalent skills
- You have worked in a Global Enterprise environment and have experience in some or all above areas above
- You work highly structured, follow processes and use documentation as a natural part of your work
- You are hands-on and can get things done in a supportable manner
- You are self-motivated, flexible, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- You are a friendly and collaborative team player, open to feedback and able to give feedback that is honest, helpful, and kind
- You are fluent in English, both spoken and written
- You currently reside in Denmark and if you are not a Danish national you have a valid Danish work permit
