Today, we employ around 300 employees, and as cybercrime grows, we need to grow. To support that goal, we are now looking for a Cybersecurity Advisor who can make a difference in our Security Strategy Team.
🧠 Security Advisory
As a trusted cybersecurity advisor, we help our clients strengthen their cyber defence capabilities by developing end-to-end cybersecurity strategies & roadmaps tailored to their needs.
With firsthand experience of data breaches and cybercrime, we know what’s required to protect today’s modern digital environments.
We guide our clients both strategically and tactically, providing reliable advisory services to ensure business continuity and reduce cyber risk.
👤 The Role
We are looking for a cybersecurity professional who can advise and guide clients through the fog of threats, tools, frameworks, and legal requirements.
You are someone who enjoys taking security strategy and making it work for the business—and you're passionate about making a real difference.
You combine cybersecurity, risk analysis, and business understanding to improve the cybersecurity posture for our clients, not just on paper, but IRL.
🧩 Your Potential Background
You ideally have 4–6 years of experience working in a cybersecurity advisory/consultancy capacity and possess a strong client network in Denmark.
You’re skilled at delivering cybersecurity insights and roadmaps to both technical and business stakeholders, including executive boards.
You also help identify and develop future cybersecurity initiatives and services for Truesec and our clients.
✅ Required Skills
- Experienced in Security frameworks (CIS v8, NIST CSF, ISO27001 etc.)
- Hands-on cybersecurity assessments using security frameworks
- Skilled at developing and communicating cybersecurity findings and roadmaps
- Experienced in presenting risk assessments to C-level and executive boards
- Knowledgeable of NIS2 and DORA
- Familiar with infrastructure such as AD, Entra ID, MS E5 tools, IGA, PAM, and SOC
- Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
- Fluent in Danish and English (spoken and written)
- Excellent Office365 skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
- A team player who shares knowledge
⭐ Bonus Skills
- Certifications like CISM, CISSP, CCSP, ISO2700x
- Knowledge of AD, Azure, IGA, PAM, and SOC
- Familiarity with Incident Response
Due to the sensitivity in our assignments, we require Swedish or Danish citizenship, citizenship in an EU country, or a Swedish/Danish work permit.
