What you’ll do
- Keep our hosting platform rock‑solid: own monitoring, patching, and performance tuning so every product team runs fast and reliably.
- Lead security & availability incident response—triage, communicate, and drive root‑cause fixes when the unexpected happens.
- Design and harden shared Azure infrastructure—networks, IAM, policy, and Kubernetes.
- Evaluate detections from Microsoft Defender for Cloud and act on real threats.
- Design and engineer new hosting & security features—balancing innovation with the stability our customers depend on.
- Participate in regular security audits for product teams.
- Advise product teams on matters of security, hosting, and infrastructure.
What we expect you to bring
- 5+ years in security, or cloud hosting—but we also welcome candidates with relevant graduate degrees and the right drive to learn and contribute.
- Deep expertise securing Azure infrastructure (or another major cloud provider with ability to ramp up fast).
- Proven track record in blue‑team disciplines and incident leadership.
- Working knowledge of application and hosting penetration testing.
- Proficiency with IaC and CI/CD automation.
- A knack for rapidly learning new technologies and teaching them to others.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to influence without authority.

Role details:
Location: Aarhus office (full-time on-site during probation). After probation, up to two remote days per week are available.
