As an Engagement manager you will play a key role in often-complex logistics surrounding the delivery of our services, and work closely with our client project teams as a non-technical project manager. Your role is to support the consulting and sales teams with account development and strategy with our key clients.
The successful candidate will be joining a fun and supportive team who value each other’s input. We encourage individuals to put forward innovative ideas on how we can work smarter and provide a better experience for our clients. This role is one that requires initiative, you are making important business decisions daily and need to be self-motivated, escalating as required. You are required to interface internally and externally at executive level with all business areas and particularly work in close partnership with the technical consultants and the Account Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients on upcoming, current and recently completed tactical engagements
- In charge of project staffing, scheduling and overall utilization of the consulting resource pool, in Denmark and globally
- Plan and schedule projects to manage client satisfaction, consultant workloads and skills development
- Coordinate technical projects throughout their phases, including but not limited to pre-delivery tasks such as as ensuring that requirements are met, act as first point of escalation during the delivery and post-delivery activities such as invoicing and requesting customer feedback
- Develop strong working relationships with clients to help maintain and increase the revenue stream outside of new business.
- Regularly attend and contribute to strategic account reviews
- Have a firm understanding of the account strategy for your accounts and support the Account Directors with key account development and strategy
- Work with the Account Directors, consultants and the client to produce proposals, statements of work and project documentation.
- Be responsible for multiple accounts/clients and their projects, as well as the growth of them
- Review project delivery processes to ensure that client expectations are met in terms of service and delivery
- Work closely with all areas of the business to identify and implement continuous improvement
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a B2B client facing position would be beneficial, for example customer success management, events management, project coordination or a commercial role
- Confident at making important decisions on a daily basis
- Professional approach to all aspects of their role both internally and to clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English and Danish a is a must
- Good project co-ordination skills, an advanced qualification such as Prince2 or Agile would be beneficial but not essential
- Ability to influence key stakeholders
- Ability to identify and resolve issues of potential conflict, both internal and external to the company during the service delivery process and instigate mitigation for future conflicts
- Understanding of Information Security is seen as an advantage
