About this opportunity
Welcome to the Network Security Operations team. We add value by securing the Bank from external threats. As the Network Security Operations Specialist, you’ll play a valuable role as a key stakeholder in business projects across the whole organisation by enabling a secure connecting environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Participation in projects with Threat Prevention practical knowledge
- Operational and infrastructural support within Threat Prevention area
- Advanced troubleshooting of security-related issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network security best practices
- Maintain, improve, and optimize processes and work instructions
- Take part in planned overtime activities
- Actively participate in team meetings, provide insights, and contribute to discussions
- Utilize Agile methodology to manage tasks efficiently and contribute to collaborative work
- Working with JIRA and Ticketing Tool BMC
You’ll join a multinational team of professionals with a unique sense of humour. The role is based in Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warsaw, Łódź.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have:
- Proficiency in Firewall area
- Proficiency in Threat Prevention area
- Familiarity with network protocols
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles
- Familiarity with SIEM tools
- Experience with Agile methodology, Jira/Kanban
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively towards shared goals and objectives
- High-quality communication
- Helping attitude
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) B2/C1
Your experience and background:
- 5+ years of experience in IT industry with practical experience in network or security field
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in Threat Prevention and Firewall area
Good to have:
- Work experience within big network environment and strict change control
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python would be a great asset
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and technologies
- University degree is appreciated
- Interest in security and networks area
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field
- Ability to work in stressful situations and sometimes under pressure
- Sense of humour and open-mindedness
