About the Role:
Our client is searching for an individual who is passionate about cyber security and has a talent for helping organisations strengthen their security posture. This role will involve performing risk assessments, developing cyber resilience strategies, and working closely with both business and IT departments. You’ll be a key advisor in shaping the security strategies of diverse organisations, ensuring their risks are managed and their investments in cyber security are maximised.
As a Security Transformation Consultant you will be contributing to their mission to deliver world-class security solutions to clients in industries like finance, operational technology (OT), critical infrastructure, and cloud services. Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough cyber security gap assessments across sectors such as finance, OT, critical infrastructure, and cloud services.
- Leading PCI DSS assessments and designing comprehensive PCI DSS programs for clients.
- Creating strategic cyber risk mitigation plans.
- Establishing and implementing information security governance frameworks.
- Advising clients on security objectives, risk appetite, security strategy, and budget.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, including IT, business, product management, and software development teams.
- Acting as a trusted colleague, supporting the team, and mentoring others to ensure collective success.
What we are looking for
- 3-5 years of experience in information security with a relevant educational background.
- Previous roles may include information security consultant, CISO, security manager, security architect, or auditor.
- A proven track record in successfully managing security and risk projects.
- Fluent/native level Danish proficiency.
- Strong proficiency in English.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Security improvement programs.
- Information security frameworks (e.g., CIS18, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ISA/IEC 62443).
- Knowledge of legal security requirements such as NIS, GDPR, and relevant national legislation.
- Threat modelling, cyber maturity assessments, and IT auditing.
- Governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).
- Privacy assessments.
Bonus Skills:
- Industry-recognised certifications such as PCI QSA, CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 Lead Implementer, CISA, or CRISC.
- Consulting experience with an established network in the security industry.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
- Experience with cloud architecture or technical security engineering.
- Danish language proficiency is a plus.
