We are now seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Cyber Threat Intelligence team in Copenhagen.
As Senior Analyst your role primarily involves managing, producing and reviewing analysis of current and future cyber threats to all business sectors and to public sector organisations.
The Senior Analyst will support and lead on delivery of bespoke threat assessments and client enquiries.
You will support business development, sales and marketing activities of the team as relevant to support the winning of projects for clients, including producing thought leadership content. In addition you will lead on quality assurance of daily intelligence reports and strategic reporting on our threat intelligence platform.
Finally, you will be expected to take on line management responsibilities with team members co-located in Copenhagen and to remotely manage team members in other locations.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Consulting
- Contribute to and lead on delivery of bespoke threat assessments for clients, ensuring high quality and actionable outputs aligned to client requirements.
- Project manage client projects where appropriate, including taking responsibility for all or select aspects of project management (set-up, invoicing, internal/external communications, resourcing, managing projects effectively and efficiently)
- Support senior colleagues as relevant in analytical, reviewing, briefings and project managing threat assessments.
- Supervise and support junior colleagues and peers on project teams to ensure that deliverables are high quality and meet client requirements.
- Maintain awareness of key trends and developments of relevance to current and prospective clients and proactively seek out opportunity to engage with clients on relevant incidents, topics and trends.
Subscription
- Set direction for the Cyber Threat Intelligence team from a subject matter perspective, including looking forward to identify emerging client relevant trends and prioritising activities of the team appropriately.
- Leading on subject-matter review and quality assurance of intelligence outputs for the Seerist platform.
- Contribute to Seerist platform content as required and appropriate based on other workload.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the geopolitical, technological, economic and social drivers of cyber threats to produce forward looking intelligence product.
Marketing and business development
- Contribute to business development activity including through scoping, drafting proposals/capability statements, pricing and delivery of consulting engagements.
- Production of marketing materials and public facing assessments designed to demonstrate CTI capability and subject matter expertise.
- Responsible for liaising with senior team members in CTI, Digital Risks and other internal teams to highlight key threat developments and reports to be shared with clients and prospects.
- Brief specific clients and external audiences in closed and public format presentations on a range of cyber threat and technology-related topics.
General analytical responsibilities
- Responsible for developing, maintaining and demonstrating strong subject matter expertise in cyber threat actors, computer network operations, electronic warfare, and geopolitics through attendance at conferences, industry events and constant research.
- Actively contribute to the team's thought leadership and key analytical lines by proactively identifying new trends and developments.
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Highly motivated and ambitious individual with ability to self-task and develop own research.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of cyber security concepts and mitigation methods.
- Practical demonstrable experience in the field of intelligence collection, analysis and reviewing.
- Ability to present technical information and analysis to a non-technical audience.
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders with an ability to adapt style and content to the experience and knowledge of the audience.
Preferred
- Demonstrable experience in the field of cyber threat intelligence, cyber security and/or geopolitics through academic or professional engagement.
- Educated to degree level or several years' work experience in an intelligence, cyber security or social science field (Terrorism, Politics, International Relations, Intelligence Studies).
- Understanding of both qualitative and quantitative analytical tools and techniques.
- Intelligence analysis (CREST, NIAT, GIAT, DIAM, City and Guilds), CTI (CRTIA, CPTIA or CCTIM) or cyber security (CISSP, CEH, CLASS) qualifications are highly desirable but not essential.
- Experience using MS SharePoint tooling, including PowerBI and PowerAutomate.
- Languages preferred: Mandarin, Russian, Farsi, Arabic, Spanish and/or German.
