MyDefence is at the forefront of counter-drone technology, using advanced wireless communication systems to innovate and lead in our industry. With rapid growth and expansion into both military and civilian markets, we are seeking more experienced Commercial Directors to join our sales team and help achieve our ambitious growth goals.
What you will do:
Cultivating customer relationships: Establish and maintain strong connections, understanding and meeting customer needs to foster long-term partnerships.
Demonstrating our innovations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to a variety of audiences, showcasing the unique capabilities of our technology.
Expanding our reach: Attend industry expos and conferences, engaging with current and potential clients to promote our products and solutions.
Driving market intelligence: Identify and analyze market trends and shifts, staying ahead of competitors and identifying new business opportunities.
Developing and implementing sales plans: Collaborate extensively with internal teams, including sales, R&D, operations, and marketing, to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
Achieving targets: Regularly track and strive to meet commercial KPIs and team objectives, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
What you bring:
Professional qualifications:
Proven sales expertise: Several years of successful sales experience, ideally within defense, tech or engineering-focused industries and a proven track record within B2B and B2G markets.
Market experience: Primarily Europe and Asia. Experience in Asia is a plus.
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Business Administration, or a similar field.
Strong network: It is an advantage, if you are well-connected within the defense industry, with contacts among potential partners and decision-makers.
Language skills: Strong proficiency in English is required; additional proficiency in Danish, French, Spanish, German is an advantage.
Travel and location: You must be prepared to travel approximately 50-70 days per year to meet both regional and international business demands. You will be based at our headquarters in Denmark.
Security clearance: Eligibility for security clearance from Danish authorities is required for this position.
