About the job
We’re looking for a hands-on Head of Security to take ownership of physical and internal security across our company. This includes securing our offices, employee devices, Wi-Fi and networks, identity and access management, and helping shape security standards for internal services and engineering teams — without adding unnecessary friction.
You’ll coordinate across teams in Denmark, Finland, Italy, Germany, and France, and ensure that our security is consistent, pragmatic, and scalable.
What you'll do
Workplace & Physical Security
- Lead physical security setup and monitoring across all offices (entry systems, alarms, visitor policy)
- Manage and roll out Ubiquiti UniFi (or equivalent) systems across all locations
- Standardize physical security across our international footprint
Access, Device & Network Security
- Define and enforce least privilege access across internal systems
- Roll out and maintain 2FA, password manager usage, and device security policies
- Standardize and secure Wi-Fi networks, local networking gear, and firewalls
Internal Security Standards (Advisory Role)
- Work with engineering teams to promote security best practices in internal tools and services
- Help define guidelines for access control, authentication, and secrets management
- Preferred: experience with SAST/DAST tools to support secure development practices
Policy, Training & Compliance
- Create practical, easy-to-follow internal security policies
- Lead company-wide security awareness efforts (phishing, device hygiene, etc.)
- Preferred: experience with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar
Cross-Regional Coordination
- Collaborate with local office managers and IT/ops teams across Europe
- Travel as needed to assess, improve, and align office security setups
- Continuously monitor and improve the company’s security posture
Who you are
- 4+ years of experience in IT, workplace ops, or security
- Hands-on experience with office tech, access systems, and endpoint/device security
- Experience with Ubiquiti UniFi or similar infrastructure tools
- Familiarity with SAST/DAST tools and secure development principles (e.g., OWASP Top 10)
- Strong communicator — able to work across tech and non-tech teams, countries, and roles
- Bonus: experience in a fast-growing, multi-office company
