IT Operations consists for now – and still growing – of 15 highly skilled people delivering high impact decisions and solutions within 3 teams, IT Sourcing and Vendor Management, Service Integration And Management (SIAM) and Infrastructure and Security Operations.

A tactical and operational role with major impact
You will have a major impact on the success of the running new IT Security Operation Center (SOC) vendor in this position. Together with our SOC vendor you will be responsible for running an efficient security operation in accordance with established procedures and policies to ensure our environment is well secured and have tested planes for how to act in case an security event happens.
- Drive IT Security day-to-day IT Security Operations together with outsourcing security partner incl. monitoring, event and security incident management, release patching, vulnerability improvements, security complains reporting, risk management etc.
- Drive the root cause analysis process after a security incident and follow up on the outcome actions
- Drive and ensure updated and regularly tested security recovery plans of the company’s information’s systems
- Oversee system maintenance to comply with security, soundness and availability requirements, including system patching, proactive component servicing etc with a special focus on automation and standardization and continuous improvements
- Lead IT operations and support teams to execute on standards established by the Information Security Governance forum
- You collaborate with cross- functional teams, such as IT Information Security, Digital Workplace & Infrastructure Development, Group IT, vendors etc.
- You drive and facilitate the collaboration across the group with Subject Matter Expert in the other business units
- You report progress and discuss roadmaps with the Strategic Sourcing Board and the Security Board
You want to build up and are eager to grow. You come with a solid track record of IT Security Operation, IT Infrastructure, IT Technical Management or similar where IT security, preferable also Cloud security, has been an important part of your job. You know how to manage a good day to day IT Security Operation in a multivendor outsourced setup and if you have experience operation with an outsourced SOC that will be an extra plus.
Relevant experience could include:
- Documented experience working hands-on with Microsoft Defender and Sentinel
- Documented experience of driving projects in an international organization
- Experience with outsourced IT/Multi sourced IT
- Experience with ITIL
- Experience with Security Operation
We expect you to challenge processes and practices identifying opportunities for continuous improvements. Your will navigate in a broad range of important stakeholders and build a close cooperation and not limited with our CISO, Service Integration And Management (SIAM), Business Units IT and Solution Architects and of cause also with our outsourcing vendors.
